Marco Rapella is the owner of Allegro – Il Gelato Naturale. He is a native of Morbegno, Italy, just North of Lake Como, where he lives there where he still lives today. He owns and operates Hotel Margna, an inn that was started by his great grandparents in 1896, and has remained in his family for generations. Within the hotel is the Osteria Rapella, a restaurant renowned in the region and has been offering the best local cuisine since then.

Ivan Lucchina is a native of Morbegno, Italy. As co-owner of Allegro and its Master Gelatiere, he is passionate about producing authentic, distinctive Gelato here in Tucson, which is now his home. He loves to experiment with new flavors that reflect the uniqueness of Tucson using the skills he acquired when he earned his degree from Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna.
